Standard contractor guarantees typically cover workmanship only. This framework extends beyond installation quality to structural decision-making and documented accountability.
Recommendations are based on measured assessment and structured conservation logic rather than assumption or convenience.
The guarantee reflects long-term performance planning, not short-term repair intervention.
A transparent framework designed to protect the building, the client, and the long-term integrity of the structure.
Restoration is prioritised wherever structurally viable. Replacement is recommended only where stability demands it.
Clear written documentation outlining what is covered, what is excluded, and the reasoning behind each decision.
Photographic evidence and structured reporting provided before any intervention is undertaken.
Decisions are grounded in conservation responsibility rather than short-term convenience.
Every guarantee is supported by structured reporting, recorded evidence, and defined responsibility.

Documented visual records supporting every structural observation and conservation decision.
Transparent clarification of coverage boundaries and documented accountability.
Clear, straightforward answers regarding the scope, transferability, and maintenance of your structural guarantee.
Yes. Our structured guarantee is tied to the property itself, not the individual who commissioned the work. The remaining duration of the 10-year assurance transfers fully to the new owners, providing excellent peace of mind during property valuation and sale.
To maintain the validity of the guarantee, the property owner must ensure basic, routine maintenance is upheld. This primarily includes keeping adjacent gutters and leadwork clear of debris to prevent unnatural water pooling, and ensuring the cupola is not subjected to improper third-party alterations.
The guarantee covers structural integrity and material performance under standard Scottish weather conditions. It does not act as an insurance policy against extreme "acts of God" (such as fallen trees or hurricane-force impact damage). Such exceptional events should be covered by your standard building insurance.
In the rare event of a material or structural failure covered under our framework, simply contact us. We will conduct a prompt, priority inspection and undertake the necessary restorative work at no additional cost to you.
Submit a structured enquiry to initiate a documented structural review. A formal written quotation will be issued outlining scope, material specification, and guarantee coverage.
